Brenda Bran, M.A. English Literature, Rhetoric and Composition Certificate
Greetings, I'm Brenda, part-time composition instructor and full-time nerd. I recently earned my M.A from CSUDH in English Literature with a certificate in Rhetoric and Composition, a feat I am most proud of because I am a first generation college graduate. For my culmination activity, I wrote a thesis titled: Beyond the Woman's Utopia: Articulating Intersectional Advocacy in Sarah Scott's Millenium Hall and Grant Morrison's Wonder Woman: Earth One. Specifically, I examined the intersectional failures as seen in Grant Morrison's Wonder Woman: Earth One's portrayal of Themyscira as a utopia. For funsies, I enjoy reading comic books and spend too much time thinking about fictional characters.

Hi all, my name is Jennifer Henriquez, and I received my Master of Arts in English Literature from California State University Dominguez Hills in Summer 2017.
